FAQ
An LED wall is not automatically the better solution. It depends on the specific on-site conditions. A projector is the more sensible choice when very large image surfaces are required and the room can be sufficiently darkened. Classic examples include cinema evenings, theatre productions, concerts with a large screen in the background, or conferences in darkened halls where image widths of four metres and more are needed.
The decisive advantage of projection lies in its scalability: with the right projector and sufficient throw distance, very large surfaces can be covered cost-effectively — at a fraction of the cost of an equivalent LED wall.
The LED wall, on the other hand, excels precisely where projection reaches its limits: in bright rooms, under direct daylight, where there is insufficient throw distance, or where people move directly in front of the image surface. We recommend the right solution based on your room situation, your content and your budget — without generalisations.
In most cases, yes. Unusual room situations are not the exception for us — they are part of the planning work. Slanted ceilings, low room heights, columns, mirrors, irregular floor plans or very little distance between projector and screen — all of this can usually be solved with the right equipment.
Depending on the situation, we use short-throw projectors that produce a large image even in tight spaces, or we select the appropriate lens for wide-angle or long-distance projections. Keystone correction, lens shift and edge blending for multi-projector setups are also part of our toolkit when the room requires it.
We assess the venue in advance — either in person or based on floor plans and photos — and propose a realistic solution. No compromises left to chance, but planning that is tailored to your specific situation.
