Truss rental for professional event productions
Rigging is the structural foundation of many events – wherever equipment is suspended, loads are moved or structures need elevation.
We plan, calculate and deliver statically verified rigging systems and constructions for events, trade fairs, shows and installations.

Why professional rigging makes your event safer and more efficient
Concert, trade fair or show: proper rigging ensures structural safety while remaining visually discreet.
Professional rigging ensures that:
- equipment is installed safely and in compliance with standards
- loads are precisely calculated and distributed correctly
- available space is used as efficiently as possible
- structures remain stable, load-bearing and visually discreet
All constructions by The Cue Group are professionally planned, structurally verified and fully documented.
Manufacturers we trust:
Eurotruss, Excellent Line, Movecat, Layher, ChainMaster

Trusses & truss systems: stable, modular and load-bearing
Truss systems form the structural backbone of stages, overhead structures and support frameworks. With us, you can rent trusses that safely carry a wide range of technical equipment.
Typical applications:
Lighting rigs, PA towers, LED walls, stage constructions, set builds and custom structures.
What defines a professional setup:
- 2-point, 3-point, 4-point and box trusses
- PA towers, truss towers, circles and custom components
- Connectors, clamps and additional accessories
- Structurally tested indoor and outdoor systems
Hoisting equipment: safety for overhead loads
When loads are suspended above people’s heads, there is no room for compromise. Our hoisting systems operate safely, precisely and in compliance with standards.
Ideal for:
Concert and exhibition rigging, ground support and PA towers.
Our hoisting solutions:
- Manual chain hoists and safety systems
- D8+ electric chain hoists in various load classes
- Cabling and scalable control systems
Ground support: when the ceiling cannot carry the load
Not every venue allows suspended loads. Ground support creates height and span independently of the venue structure.
Suitable for:
Indoor and outdoor stages, custom technical solutions.
Our ground support solutions:
- Freestanding constructions
- Support structures for LED walls or PA
- Complex constructions including ballast
- Static verification and calculations (optional)
Rigging accessories & load attachment equipment
Safety starts in the details. Reliable rigging depends on correctly selected and properly installed load attachment equipment.
Essential requirement:
All components are standards-compliant, tested and selected specifically for the intended application.
This includes:
- Steel wire ropes, Steelflex and lifting chains
- Shackles, connectors and clamps
- Wire rope holders and suspension components
Lifts and stands
Not everything needs to be flown. Lifts and stands are ideal as practical support options or assembly aids.
Ideal for:
Setup support, film productions and mobile applications.
Available in our dry hire range:
- Assembly lifts and truss lifts
- Wind-up stands and telescopic stands
- Telepoles and more
Custom rigging solutions
Some concepts require more than standard solutions. We develop custom rigging and construction concepts that are technically safe, visually refined and creatively designed.
If something seems impossible at first glance, we usually find a way.
Custom solutions include:
- Truss rings and special geometries of all kinds
- Riggable media objects and LED installations
- Custom builds for shows, trade fairs and film sets

FAQ
Rigging with loads over people may only be performed by certified professionals. This is not a matter of discretion, but a legal obligation. Anyone operating trusses, motors or loads above people bears full responsibility for safety, statics and documentation — and that responsibility cannot simply be delegated.
Our rigging structures are planned, statically verified and fully documented by qualified specialists. This applies to simple truss systems as well as complex motor rigs with multiple points. We work in accordance with applicable standards and regulations, so that your event runs at the right level — not just visually, but also in terms of safety.
Anyone who cuts corners or improvises here risks not only the smooth running of the event, but in the worst case the safety of guests, technicians and the entire team. That is why for us certified rigging is not an add-on — it is the standard.
Yes, truss material can be rented directly from our shop and used at your own responsibility. This is a practical option for setups where no loads are suspended over people and no electric chain hoist is involved — for example for backdrop constructions, trade show builds in restricted areas, or decorative elements without safety-critical rigging.
As soon as lights, speakers, LED walls or other loads are suspended over the audience or people, the situation changes fundamentally. In these cases we strongly recommend full service with our own rigging team. If you have your own qualified crew, you can rent the trusses only. Responsibility for the static check, correct load distribution and secure attachment lies with the operator — not the rental company.
We are happy to help you assess which option makes sense for your specific setup — both practically and legally. This way you can use truss material flexibly without taking unnecessary risks.
This cannot be answered in general terms, as it depends heavily on the location and the planned load capacity. Many professional event venues and exhibition halls have clearly defined rigging points with specified load limits. In these cases a separate permit is often not required, as long as the loads remain within the permissible values.
The situation is different for locations not primarily built for events — such as historic buildings, industrial halls, atriums or unusual spaces. Here an individual structural calculation is often required before rigging can even begin.
We clarify this in advance directly with the location, assess the existing infrastructure and decide together whether a separate structural calculation is needed. This way we avoid surprises during setup and ensure your construction stands on a clean, approved foundation from the start.
