Apprenticeship as an event technology specialist (m/f/d)

  • Apprenticeship: Event technology specialist (IHK-certified)
  • Duration: 3 years
  • Locations: Berlin or Mainz
  • Start date: September 1, 2026

Your moment starts here

In our world, a single moment often decides whether an event succeeds or not.
The lights come on. The sound kicks in. Everything comes together.

And that’s exactly where you come in.

As an apprentice event technology specialist, you become part of the crew at The Cue Group — a new brand with strong roots, clear values and the ambition not just to deliver events, but to make them truly stand out.

What you can expect

You will learn event technology from the ground up — hands-on, structured and in real-world settings:

  • Lighting, audio, video and stage technology
  • Setup, dismantling and operation of equipment for a wide range of productions — from corporate events to large-scale shows
  • Technical planning, logistics and safety fundamentals
  • Working in a team that supports each other — even under pressure
  • Insight into all areas, with the opportunity to specialise later

From day one, you will be part of real projects. Not just watching from the sidelines — but thinking, contributing and growing.

What you should bring

  • At least a good secondary school qualification
  • A valid driver’s license (class B)
  • Interest in technology, IT and hands-on work
  • Physical fitness and strong communication skills
  • Reliability, team spirit and curiosity
  • Previous experience is not required. What matters is your curiosity, enthusiasm and willingness to learn.

Why The Cue Group?

Because training with us is more than just a curriculum:

  • Personal mentoring instead of being just another trainee
  • Modern technology and professional equipment
  • A working environment where respect and appreciation are lived values
  • Clear prospects: we aim to offer a permanent position if it’s the right fit for both sides
  • Teams that stick together — even when things get demanding
  • Productions you won’t forget: experience outstanding events, discover unique locations and be part of moments when everything comes together perfectly
  • Future-focused learning: digital tools, modern technologies and smart processes keep you up to date

At The Cue Group, it’s not just about starting somewhere.
It’s about arriving.
