Video Technician / Media Technician Berlin (m/f/d)

Location: The Cue Group Berlin
Employment: Full-time, permanent
Start: Immediately

You own the picture on our productions.

You build LED walls, projection, and camera systems, run media servers and video switchers live during the show, and take charge of the signal chain?

Then you're exactly who we're looking for.

The Cue Group brings together specialized companies from the events industry to deliver technical excellence at the highest level. In Berlin, we handle corporate events, conferences, galas, and brand experiences — plus ongoing technical support for permanently equipped venues.

For our team based in Berlin-Reinickendorf, we're looking for you as our Video and Media Technician.

What you'll be doing

You'll work with professional video and media equipment and take ownership of its setup, operation, and condition. Your responsibilities include:

  • Setting up, operating, and breaking down video and media equipment: LED walls, projection, camera systems, displays
  • Operating media servers, video switchers, and signal management live during the show
  • Setting up and monitoring signal paths (SDI, HDMI, NDI, network), calibrating, and troubleshooting on-site
  • Working alongside project management, audio, and lighting within the technical team
  • Providing technical support for the event from delivery through final sign-off
  • Maintaining, servicing, and inspecting equipment in the warehouse between deployments

What you bring

  • Completed training as an Event Technology Specialist, Media Designer (Picture & Sound), Media Technician, or an equivalent qualification. Motivated career changers with relevant hands-on experience are explicitly welcome
  • Practical experience in live video and media technology, ideally with common media servers and video switchers
  • Understanding of signal routing, cabling, and network technology in a production context
  • A hands-on mentality and the composure to work cleanly even when things get tight before a show

Why The Cue Group?

Because working here is more than just another job:

  • A permanent, full-time role within an expanding group
  • Above-tariff pay plus benefits
  • Projects for strong brands, plus the reliability of ongoing venue support
  • Modern, professionally maintained equipment
  • A technical team that has each other's back
  • Meaningful professional development: training, trade shows, new challenges
  • Growth opportunities within the group, including across locations
  • Company pension scheme with employer contribution, plus corporate rates on private mobile contracts
