Presentation technology includes projectors and LED walls, screens, monitors, media servers, playback devices, and control desks, plus the cabling and signal distribution between them. It ensures slides, videos, and live images appear reliably, at the right resolution, and in the right place.
In a multilingual context, an often underestimated requirement is added: the presentation signal must also be distributed to the interpreting booths. Modern setups route the image in parallel to the hall screen, confidence monitors for speakers, and booth monitors. At hybrid events, presentation technology merges with transmission and conference technology, since the same image must appear simultaneously in the hall and in the stream – in sync with the audio.
